Maria Kalli is a PhD candidate at the Sanitary Engineering Laboratory in the School of Civil Engineering at the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). Her research focuses on the experimental investigation of the fate of antibiotic-resistant bacteria and genes during wastewater treatment, reuse, and disposal. She holds a degree in Civil Engineering from NTUA and a master’s degree from NTUA's postgraduate program in Water Resources Science and Technology. Maria has presented her research at international scientific conferences and is the author of three scientific articles.
