Daphne Argyropoulou is a PhD Candidate at the School of Civil Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens. She is a Chemical Engineer and holds a master's degree in Water Quality and Environmental Technology. Her research focuses on analytical method development for microplastics in water and wastewater and the fate of microplastics during wastewater treatment. She has also worked in numerous projects as an environmental consultant to the industrial sector.
