Dr. Eleni Nyktari is a Chemical Engineer and postdoctoral researcher in Civil Engineering at the Department of Water Resources and Environmental Engineering of National Technical University of Athens. Her research focuses on wastewater treatment and resource recovery, including hydrothermal carbonization, high-rate activated sludge reactors, and anaerobic systems. She is also involved in water and wastewater management projects that promote circular economy principles, the use of non-conventional water sources and the implemention of nature based solutions. Over the last years, she has held key roles in several international and national research projects.
