Christos Ioannidis is a PhD candidate at the School of Civil Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens. With academic background in Civil Engineering (MEng) and an MSc in Science and Technology of Water Resources, he specializes in water quality management, wastewater treatment optimization, and resource recovery processes. Leveraging his expertise in programming tools his research focuses on the mathematical simulation and optimization of wastewater and sludge treatment systems to maximize energy and material recovery.
