​Nikos Kouris has been active in the field of environmental technology as a freelancer since 2005. He is a member of the Technical Chamber and the Geotechnical Chamber of Greece. For the past 20 years, he has been collaborating with the Sanitary Engineering Laboratory (SEL) of the Division of Water Resources and Environmental Engineering, School of Civil Engineering, National Technical University of Athens, on research projects related to the assessment of water and soil environments, water management, the application of innovative nature-based solutions (NBS), as well as the treatment, reuse, and disposal of wastewater and sludge.
