Project summary and objectives
ΕΠΙΧΕΙΡΩ ΚΥΚΛΙΚΑ aims to accelerate the transition of Greek enterprises—particularly SMEs—towards sustainable and circular business models. The project develops a suite of innovative, AI-driven tools and simulation models integrated into a digital platform to support the adoption of circular economy principles and green transformation strategies across sectors.
By leveraging advanced data analytics, knowledge graphs and semantic technologies, the platform will offer companies the ability to evaluate their environmental performance, align with European and international sustainability standards and redesign their operations accordingly. Special focus is placed on enabling collaboration, knowledge exchange and resource efficiency through digital marketplaces and industrial symbiosis mechanisms.

Main Objectives:
Develop models and tools for assessing and improving business circularity and environmental performance.
Create a digital platform integrating databases, compliance support, ESG metrics and scenario analysis tools.
Facilitate inter-enterprise collaboration via a digital marketplace for industrial symbiosis and resource sharing.
Pilot and validate tools in real industrial environments, with ELVALHALCOR as a demonstrator in the metals’ sector.
Strengthen the competitiveness and sustainability of Greek enterprises in alignment with EU policy goals.

SEL NTUA's contribution in the project
SEL NTUA is the Project Coordinator, overseeing administration, financial management, quality and risk management while ensuring technical and scientific guidance. Moreover, SEL NTUA leads the development and integration of advanced data analysis and circularity assessment models into the platform, enabling users to leverage multi-source data for circular economy practices, collaboration and innovation. It also provides cutting-edge methodologies for Life Cycle Assessment and related tools, enhancing the project's research and innovation capacity.
